Exhibit: Coal + Ice
““Coal + Ice” is a documentary exhibition encompassing work by thirty photographers around the world. It seeks to do something unprecedented: to chart the horrific grandeur of our effects on the planet, from the coal mines beneath our feet to the dwindling glaciers on our highest mountains.”

Let’s fight some cancer guys!
I wanted to do Movember last year, but I chickened out. I’ll be honest, my beard is like a security blanket for my face and even shaving it off for charity couldn’t pursuade me. This year, I thought long and hard and realized what a stupid dumb idiot I have been.
Granted I still miss my beard, but of all people, I should be doing this. When I was 21 I was diagnosed with testicular cancer, and luckily enough 8 years later I am one ball short but overall quite healthy, but I couldn’t have done it without support from friends, family, and my doctors.
I want to help bring awareness, and raise some money to support people who are at this very moment, battling cancer. I set my goal to what I think is a reasonable level, $1000. If everyone who followed me on tumblr donated $.015 I would reach my goal, but let’s face it, most people wont. If you can spare a buck or two to make up for those other schlubs, please donate. Do it for the men in your life that you care about, it will make you feel good, and why shouldn’t it!
I also started a team, Awesome 5000 so if anyone would like to also participate in Movember, please do, the more the harrier (eventually.)

Here’s my piece for the Bill Murray tribute show at Gallery 1988 Melrose, which opens this Thursday.
I love Bill Murray as much as the next guy, but I couldn’t help passing up an opportunity to remind people that he is but a mere mortal.
It will be available as a limited edition 8x10 print, for $30.
